Since February 2009 Oliver Schöntag and Riccarda Bryner are on Tenerife. Oliver fulfilled himself a dream in buying this dive center.

Their ways crossed each other in El Quseir (Egypt) during their diving career.

He, since 3 years there, as a dive instructor, she, as newly certified divemaster on her way to a new world.

Oliver started diving 2001 and quickly he found his passion for diving. At the end of 2001 he became a SSI Dive Control Specialist in Rerik. After this he decided, that he wanted to become a professional diver and went to where he got his education as a PDA dive instructor. Followed by the PADI OWSI Instructor in January 2003, in Cannes at the Instructor Training College.

He crossed to SSI AOWI in Berlin and went to work as an instructor with Subex in El Quseir in February 2003. There he went on with education to become a CMAS 1-star instructor and in the following 4 years also SSI DCSI and CMAS/VDST 2-star instructor.

After a commercial apprenticeship and few years of work, Riccarda went on a trip around the world where she learned to dive. Every year after this she went at least one week for diving holidays. In the beginning of 2005 she decided to do her Rescue Diver and right after the Divemaster course. Quickly she found herself a job in Egypt. That's how she ended up with Subex in El Quseir fall 2005. She learned about SSI and CMAS and crossed over to Dive Control Specialist and 3-star diver.

2007 they went together to Dahab. Riccarda went on to do her PADI Instructor and Oliver did his SSI Instructor Trainer.

They both love the “small” things in the water and they look under every stone, if there might be something exciting hiding. Of course they also admire turtles, rays, octopuses and big schools of fishes. And they are looking forward to see all known and yet unknown creatures.

Oliver loves to make underwater movies. Riccarda rather takes her photo camera to “catch” fish. They have a huge variation of movies and pictures together up till now. Of course they will love to give you hints and advices, but also education in those topics.

He is born to teach. With his calm attitude he already taught many students, from beginner to professional diver. His passion helps him to bring excitement to all ages for learning and improving. She also loves to teach, but her passion lies in “searching” fishes, creatures, slugs, etc. and giving the guests as much information as possible on the specific animal.

As you can see, since long they are looking after active divers and teaching people, who want to become a diver.

To start with, there is a beginner course: Open Water Diver. After this they offer the whole variety of further education steps up to dive instructor.

Diving, that's the adventure they want to communicate. They want to open up the interest and motivation to become better and better. Personal security for them is the most important issue, even if it is each divers own responsibility to have a perfect and secure dive.
